Like I said in my Hopes post, I would like it to be legal, but it's honestly a coin toss with Konami.

ReplyDeleteHeavy storm is a free plus that takes no risk or skill whatsoever to use it!(Yes, I'm not counting Starlight Road because it's retarded!I won't explain why right now!)
Trap Stun, Mystical Space Typhoon and Malevolent Catastrophe are all you need to deal with heavy backrow!
If Heavy Storm comes back, the game will turn into an otk festival especially with the arrival of Dark World!
I would like to have heavy storm limited because it makes the game more exiting

ReplyDeleteI don't think it's fair to say that it takes "no risk or skill whatsoever" to use Heavy Storm. There is at least some degree of both of those because it destroys your own Set cards, too. Now that doesn't take a huge amount of skill to mitigate, but it at least takes some.
And I also don't think it's fair to say that the game will turn into an "OTK festival". That's more the fault of swarm decks like Dark World than the fault of Heavy Storm. Yes, the game has progressed to a point where broken cards are the norm, but it's not impossible to fix that.
I do see where you're coming from, but Heavy Storm isn't completely at fault for these things. You should notice that my Hoped ban list changes would basically destroy all of the swarming in the game, making it safer for Heavy Storm to be made legal again.

That's could actually be a good enough reason for Konami to Limit Heavy Storm again. I mean, why else would they bring back Monster Reborn?
i would like heavy storm back since it could easyly be stop, as well liked when you had to think to set one or 2 in backrow, since you were scared of heavy
