What's great is that this kills the Tour Guide/Sangan combo that gives you a 2500 ATK floater for no reason at all.
What's bad is that now I have to rethink my Zombie deck. I might just drop it, we'll see.
Overall, the good far outweighs the bad. I just wish that this news could've come earlier.
When I thought about zombies, I still didn't make them!
ReplyDeleteBecause the indirect support in the form of ruling changes and indirect support cards(like Tour Guide from Hell) just doesn't cut it to me!
What would be nice is a zombie-themed support!
Pain Painter is not bad but it's not enough!
In other news, this ruling change is a step in the right direction!
A few more things left to be done!
1: Get the priority ruling off our backs!
2: Get a better banlist!
3: Make the sets more fair for the TCG!
thank u for giving an idea of which deck not to play!!!
ReplyDeleteur rite i wish this news would comeout earlier i would'nt have bought all that zombie shit no!!!!!!!!!!!!
wut do u think will be top tier now?
wut are u gonna play wut should i play
i'm usually in tele dad type of stuff similar things to it
thanks and plz reply this news is sending an uproar in north america!!!!!!
@MaX
ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't think that the set rarities will be anywhere near fair for the TCG any time soon, I hope that the ruling for Ignition Priority will change.
@Anonymous
Honestly, I can't take you seriously if you type like that.
And I just posted that I have to rethink my deck less than an hour ago. There's no way that I would know what deck I would be playing at this point.
As for the meta, it will be about the same. Just subtract all of the Tour Guides...
Still gonna build Zombies here :P Just gonna go with a Swap Varient to wreck everything ^_^
ReplyDeleteI would urge you not to give up on zombies just yet. Book of life allows them to abuse Leviair's effect with pinpoint accuracy and creature swap is a really boss card this format.
ReplyDeleteThe only decks that'll run Tour Guide now are Dark World ones, because they can still make use of it. And given that Tour Guide is falling to acceptable prices (I saw copies going for $20 on eBay), Dark World will be the neo-Agents.
ReplyDeleteCheap, out-of-the-box and good.
@Kokuyoku
ReplyDeleteYeah, Creature Swap really makes the deck worth running, which is why I'm still considering it.
@Anonymous
Book of Life is somewhat lackluster when we have Monster Reborn and two Call of the Haunted. Not to mention that I only run seven Zombie Monsters. Creature Swap is amazing, though.
@Allan Assiduity
Indeed. I would probably change decks by the time that Dark Worlds come out, since Zombies theoretically have a bad match-up against them.
Regardless, I've heard that some Fabled builds use Tour Guide as well to search Kushano.
I actually have zombies built, and it doesnt focus on Xyz summoning. It's actually pretty consistent.
ReplyDelete@Relentify
ReplyDeleteYeah, the deck doesn't need to focus on Xyz Monsters; they're just an option that the deck has. That's why I'm probably going to stick with the Zombie deck.
The main problem I'm having is how to Side Deck. The deck is so packed that I can't side more than four cards without having to completely side out the Zombie engine or doing something silly like that.
