5D's Episode 106

There wasn't much plot development, but it was a pretty good episode.

So, as we know from the last episode, Placido releases the army of Ghosts to Battle Royal duel everyone on the streets. They use Ally (of Justice) cards.

Yusei, Jack, Bruno, Sherry, her butler, and some random Sector Security guy Jack met before (Kazama) go out to find who's controlling the Ghosts. Then, there's a bunch of scenes showing Yusei, Sherry, and her butler and Jack and Kazama killing Ghosts.

Placido realizes that the Ghosts can't defeat main characters so easily. So, he sends all of them to kill Yusei.

The butler, Sherry, and Yusei stack their hands so that they can all Synchro on the first turn and kill off two of the bajillion Ghosts.

The first Ghost uses three AOJ Cosmic Closer to kill the butler. The next Ghost attacks Sherry's Synchro Monster with Ally Bomb after the first Ghost flips DNA Transplant, turning everything into Lights. Ally Bomb's effect destroys Sherry's Synchro Monster and Yusei's Speed Warrior, even though Yusei had a Road Warrior on the field. The next ten Ghosts summon Ally Bombs and attack Sherry directly with all of them to beat her.

Yusei is left by himself to defeat a horde of Ghosts. The preview leads us to believe that we can expect to see an Accel Synchro in the next two episodes, so that's something to look forward to...
