A decent episode; most of it was dueling, which was good.
Crow wastes all of his cards to get rid of Hidden Knight Hook, since he just hates it that much. He ends up beating Herman, then he pits in. In the WRGP, if you pit in, you basically surrender. So Crow gives up the rest of his LP and lets Jack handle the rest because his shoulder is still injured.
Jack goes in against Team Catastrophe's Nicholas. Nicholas just sets a card on his turn. Jack Special Summons Power Giant by sending a Level 4 or lower Monster from his hand to the Graveyard.
When Jack attacks directly, Nicholas activates the Doom's Ray Trap Card. It deals 800 damage to each player for each card in the controller's hand. So, Nicholas tries to kill Jack, since Doom's Ray is also a "card of darkness" and would inflict real damage.
Of course, Jack's new Monster has a convenient effect that would negate effect damage to him when it's attacking. Jack protects himself from the explosion and also saves Nicholas from dying.
Also very convenient is the fact that when a duelist's D-Wheel explodes, the whole team loses because they can't pass to the next duelist. So, Team 5D's (Yusei didn't duel this time...) wins. How unexpected.
Placido, one of the evil infinity people, decides to release all of the Ghosts on the city. I wonder where that will lead... (sarcasm, by the way...)
