Honest and Charge of the Light Brigade are good, that goes without saying. Because that goes without saying, that means that they're TOO good. Of course, they should have some sort of limitations, right...? Right? Maybe Judgment Dragon should go with them?
Actually, Honest really isn't good enough to be limited. Sure, it's a cheap, in-hand battle trick that guarantees that you'll win the battle, but once the Allies of Justice Catastor and Decisive Arms come out, it won't really matter. Even now, they aren't that bad.
Charge of the Light Brigade is a different story. Shall we compare it to Reinforcement of the Army? RotA has bounced around on the ban list quite a bit, and has settled down at 1 recently. While it can only get Warriors, it gives you access to quite a few good cards (Stratos, D-Heroes, Dark Grepher, Armageddon Knight, Junk Synchron, Rose, etc.). CotLB is essentially the same; you get to mill 3 and search for a Lightsworn monster, which are good in general (Ryko, Lumina, Lyla, Ehren, Garoth, Aurkus). But wait, CotLB is as good as (arguably better than) RotA, and it's UNLIMITED? The mill effect is good enough to splash 3 and some Lightsworn into a deck. How is that fair? ... That's right, no answer...
Judgment Dragon. It's Judgment Dragon, it should be at 1 (at least). I don't think I have to explain this one.
Although I wasn't planning on it, this post has turned into a rant about Lightsworn support cards. What I was intending on talking about was that Honest and Charge of the Light Brigade are going to be reprinted in the future. Honest in the "Twilight Edition" and CotLB in Stardust Overdrive Special Edition. That's cool, I can get some CotLB (and Tempest Magicians, the other reprint) from SOVR SE.
Now to congratulate Konami on slowly making the game more affordable for players. Gold Sarcophagus and Dark Armed Dragon in Gold Series 2009 (and they weren't Super Short Print, like Crush Card Virus in the previous Gold Series), Allure of Darkness and Dark Creator in Raging Battle Special Edition, CotLB and Tempest Magician in Stardust Overdrive Special Edition, and Judgment Dragon, Doomcaliber Knight, and Crush Card Virus in the Turbo Pack. Maybe Mezuki, Vayu, and the Blackwing Synchros will be next?
Wait a second... Crush Card Virus was banned soon after it was reprinted in the Turbo Pack. Could that mean... that Charge of the Light Brigade is next?
