If you've watched any one of my videos from the past year, there's a pretty good chance you've seen E-Hero Absolute Zero in action.
Here is a random list of abbreviations we use for the card:
E-Hero Ab Zero
Ab Zero
AbZ
I said in one of my videos that I expect people to use other (lamer) nicknames for Ab Zero. The most common one I've heard is just "Zero."
That's all besides the point, though. AbZ is coming out officially in a few days, though people I know have already found it in bookstores somewhere. So, naturally, there's lots of hype riding on it.
That's all it is: hype.
It's like what happened when Vayu came out. There was a bunch of hype, and rightly so. It did change Blackwing decks.
However, with Ab Zero, people are trying to run D-Hero Zombies with Deep Sea Diva (and Crystal Seer) and two/three Miracle Fusions. I can see how people think this would work.
Summon Diva to get the second. After they're both in the Graveyard, you can Miracle Fusion off one of them with a Hero for Ab Zero. Then, once your first Ab Zero dies, you can use another Miracle Fusion on that and the second Diva. I think it's situational, but it can work.
I'm not saying AbZ is bad. It's actually pretty good, but it's not so good that you should throw a D-Hero engine and Deep Sea Divas in your Zombie deck just to use it.
Seriously, if you've seen some of my videos where we've used AbZ, then you would know that it's good. But, there are ways around it. Maybe Lightsworn decks can't do anything but hopelessly lose all of their Monsters, but Zombies and Blackwings can easily get through an Ab Zero.
There's just too much hype surrounding AbZ.

You are so right. It seems way toinconsistent without a deck specifically based around it.
